Gavin Miller

Executive Chairman


Gavin is a CPA, Chartered Secretary and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, with over 20 years' financial and commercial management experience in diverse industries including manufacturing, utilities and civil construction.

As Executive Chairman of Ertech Holdings, Gavin is responsible for corporate strategy and business planning, risk management, compliance, and the financial performance of the Group.



Jim Giumelli


Founding Director


The founder of Ertech and director of Ertech Holdings, Jim is a Fellow Chartered Professional Engineer of Engineers Australia. He has over 45 years’ experience in the construction industry, and has led the successful development, diversification and financial performance of the Group since inception.

Jim was the winner of the Western Region Entrepreneur of the Year 2007 in the Financial, Business and Property category.



James Giumelli


Managing Director


James has a civil engineering background with construction, consultancy and geotechnical experience in Australia and the UK. He has overseen the successful delivery of some of the company's largest projects including Wheatstone General Services 3, Gorgon Site Development and WAPET Landing, Utah Point Berth Project, and Ravensthorpe Nickel Project.

As Managing Director of Ertech Holdings, James is responsible for leading the group with a focus on increasing our capacity, operational performance and profitability across all business units. 



Paul Depiazzi

Non-Executive Director


Paul is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has over 20 years’ experience in senior executive and board positions in substantial ASX listed corporate groups, and has recently been working in consulting roles and managing private investment companies.

Paul has particular interests in strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance, with a focus on shareholder returns. He also contributes to a number of not-for-profit boards and committees.



Mike Best

BEng (Hons) FIEAust FAICD

Non-Executive Director


Mike is a civil engineer by profession and is a Fellow of both Engineers Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He worked for over 20 years with a major Australian consulting firm, including 9 years as CEO. He has wide experience in a range of engineering projects, including land subdivisions, resource projects, civil infrastructure and building works.  He now works in a variety of Board and corporate governance roles within both the commercial and not-for-profit sectors.

Mike has particular interests in corporate strategy, leading and managing growth, risk management and overall corporate governance.
